William J. Kubicek

William J. (Bill) Kubicek, age 81 of Princeton, entered the Gates of Heaven on Monday, May 27, 2019. He was born on October 14, 1937 in Pilot Point, Texas to William and Lula Kubicek.

Bill married Glinda on November 26, 1980. He is survived by his wife, daughter Tammy Finley and husband Jim of Allen, granddaughters Rinni and Reese Finley of Allen, brothers John Kubicek and wife Earline of Hickory Creek and Bob Kubicek of Lucas. He is also survived by his wife's twin sister, Linda Stephens of McKinney and her daughter Donna Martin and husband Bryan of Leander, Texas and their daughters Christina Martin of Austin and Lyndi Martin of Dallas, all of whom he considered his own.

Bill proudly served three years in the Army and four years in the Air Force Reserves. He retired from TI/Raytheon with 31 years and was employed by Walmart for 25 years until his death. He enjoyed his friends, co-workers and customers at Walmart.

He was a member of the McKinney Church of God. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help. He gave unconditional love and support to his family. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Charles W. Smith funeral home in McKinney on Saturday, June 1. Visitation is at 1:00 pm and service is at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Vitas Hospice Care, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
