William Paul Crabtree

September 6, 1957 — April 26, 2014

William Paul Crabtree of Princeton, Texas, passed away on April 26, 2014 after a courageous battle against cancer. Bill is survived by his wife, Denise Ann Crabtree, his step children, Brittney, Daniel and Billy Wood, Gerry, Nelda and Tonya Winchester and Carlos Morales; his brother, Jeff Crabtree and his beloved dogs, Rocky & Jesse Crabtree. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Joan Crabtree and his best friend, David Bessellieu. Bill was born in Chincoteague, Virginia on September 6, 1957. He moved to Plano, Texas with his family in 1966, where he graduated from Plano High School in 1975. Bill was our Texas State Champion of the Jr. Division of the U.S Cycling Federation in 1975. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1977 and served our country for 4 years. He was a Master Carpenter and was in construction most of his life. Bill met and married Denise Ann Bessellieu on June 30, 2006. He and Denise are co-owners of Crabtree Fence and Lawn Service in Princeton, Texas. The family will receive guests at a visitation to take place on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S Tennessee St. McKinney, Texas 75069. The funeral will be on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow immediately at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Lowry Crossing, Texas. Pastor Kevin Choate will officiate.
