William Earl Caldwell

William Earl "Bill" Caldwell, 74, died on Sunday, June 29, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 18, 1940 in Dallas, Texas to his parents, William and Christine Caldwell. Bill is survived by his children, Caryn Michael and Jay Caldwell; grandchildren, Adam Dobbs, Kendra Taylor and Kelcie Recer; his sister, Doris White and her husband, Perry and his nieces and nephews. Bill enjoyed taking his son to the Devil's Bowl Speedway to watch the races in earlier years. He also enjoyed working in his yard, which was always well maintained. The family will receive guests at a visitation to take place Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home at 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas 75048. The funeral will take place on Thursday, July 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Brother Ken Ashlock officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery.
