William P. Camp

William P. Camp of 86 years, passed from natural causes, into his Fathers Kingdom, on April 30, 2020. He resided at the Waterford Retirement community in Mesquite. Texas
Paw- Paw/ Pops, an only child, was born to the late Bertha B. Bullard and William J. Camp of Fayetteville, North Carolina, on February 4, 1934.
He later met and married Charity Packer of Bladenboro, North Carolina. They set up residence in Conyers, Georga, raised a family and were married for 35 years. He preached and served in the Lake City Church of Christ in Morrow, Ga.

He served in the United States Airforce in Guam, until honorably discharged. In civilian life, he was a Delta mechanic of 44 years.
He later moved to Texas, where he joined the La Prada Church of Christ. He resided lastly at the Waterford Retirement Community where he was very happy, having Saturday lunches with his family and visiting with his neighbors and church friends.

He leaves behind an extended and saddened family. His children, Elizabeth Chriscoe and husband Tony, Teresa Gerald and husband Randy, William G Camp and wife Angela, as well as multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with beloved church family members and friends.

His family would like to thank the staff and administration of the Veterans Administration Hospital as well as the Waterford Retirment Community for their generous and personal care during his time with them.

A memorial service will be held a later date when the family can join together to celebrate his life.
