Wilbur Fox

Wilbur “Web” Fox Jr., 75, of Fairview Texas, passed away on Saturday05/05/2018 in McKinney Texas due to complications from his fight with lung cancer. Services will be at Cowboy Church of Collin County, 2800 FM3364,Princeton, TX 75407 on Saturday 06/02/2018 at 11:00AM.

Web was born in Dover Ohio to Web Fox Sr. and Betty Dergel Fox on09/20/1942. He was a Massillon Tiger and then an Ohio University Bobcat. It has been said he was a legend in the chemical business. He worked for Diamond Alkali, Diamond Shamrock, Cain Chemical, Occidental Chemical, Lyondell Chemical, and Equistar. Though many company names it was promotions and transfers that lead him the whole way through his career. In retirement he dedicated his time to ODAAT and a slight news addiction.

Web is preceded in death by his parents Web Sr. and Betty; his in-laws Chuck and Marge; his uncle Tony and aunt Margie; his cats Sloopy, Calvin, Claude, and Sloopy II; and his dog Bear.

Web is survived by his Wife Penny; Children John, Nancy, Heather, and Chuck; Sister Diane; and Grandchildren Zach, Hannah, Rachel, Hailey, JT, Jackson, and Grant.

Web would probably say his death was not caused by cancer but from his favorite self diagnosis, rectal cranial inversion. His family still says it was Debbie that killed him though it was only a suggestion that he should start getting better or go see Jesus.
