Weldon Douglas Hickman
July 24, 1949 — June 20, 2018
Weldon Douglas Hickman, known to friends as "Doug", passed away on June 20, 2018 at the age of 68 years. He was born in Dallas, Texas on July 24, 1949 to Newton and Nell (Wood) Hickman.
He spent many years employed by Southwestern Bell and various other telecom companies before becoming self-employed in the business. He enjoyed golf, hunting and fellowship with friends and family and was a member of First Baptist of Wylie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dana Hickman.
He is survived by his fiance' Vicky Falco; his three sons Dustin (Jill) Hickman, Kevin (Tara) Hickman and Drew (Becca) Hickman; his brother Dennis and (Karen) Hickman; his sister Debbie Temple; and his five grandchildren- Hailey, Katie, Jackson, Josh and Jacob Hickman.
A Memorial Service will be held July 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Draper Chapel of First Baptist of Wylie, 100 N. 1st Wylie, Texas 75098.
Parking is on the south side of building.
