Wanda Lou Patterson

Wanda Lou Patterson Robinson, 72, of Dierks, Arkansas passed away March 24, 2013 in Denton, Texas. She was born in Culleoka, Texas to Effie Gibson Smith & Elmer Smith on May 15, 1940. Wanda loved country and gospel music and was a big fan of Elvis Presley. She also loved collecting dolls, Coca Cola and Elvis items just to mention a few. Wanda liked to talk to anyone that would listen. She could tell a good story as well as listen to a good one. She made friends everywhere she went. She loved to laugh and will be missed by many. Wanda is survived by three daughters, Nancy Griffith and her husband Roger of Forreston, Texas, Kathy Roberts and her husband Morris of Denton and Mary Hardaway of Denton; three sons, Jackie Patterson and his wife Lisa of Mesquite, Oliver Patterson and his wife Donna of Princeton and Frankie Robinson of Rosharon, Texas as well as three brothers and three sisters. She has several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Effie and Elmer Smith, her son Frankie Wayne Patterson, two husbands, Frankie Don Patterson and Donald Lee Robinson and lots of friends. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S Tennessee Street, McKinney, Texas 75069. A funeral service will take place Wednesday, March 27, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
