Virginia Dee Montoya

Virginia Dee Montoya, of McKinney, Texas passed away on December 30, 2017 at the age of 90. She was born on July 14, 1927 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Virginia made a living as a property manager, and also worked in the base exchange for a time. She was a member of Heritage Church of McKinney. Virginia enjoyed gardening and was a lover of animals, especially her Pomeranian and Toy Poodle.Virginia is survived by a daughter, Pamela Cheeseman and family, a daughter, Sandra Ward and family, a son, Danny Willard and family, and son-in-law, Douglas Forrer and family.Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, Orie and Dorothy (Pentzer) Moody and a daughter, Janice Forrer.The family will receive friends during visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee St., McKinney, Texas 75069. Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2018 also at Charles W. Smith Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery of McKinney, Texas.
