Virginia Faye McIntyre

Virginia Faye McIntyre (nee Shafer) died November 26, 2019 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 89. She was born December 20, 1929 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Joseph Eugene Shafer and Edith Mae Shafer.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Connie McIntyre of Allen, Texas. Three grandchildren, Josh McIntyre and his wife Bethany of Allen, Texas, Katie McIntyre Johnston and her husband Jim of McKinney. Texas, and Kellsie McIntyre Boyd and her husband Josh of McKinney, Texas. Five great grandchildren, John and Jackson McIntyre and Wrenley, Hawthorne and River Johnston. She is also survived by sister-in-laws Joyce McIntyre of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Dorothy Edmonds of Morris, Oklahoma along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband Harold Malcolm McIntyre and daughter Judy Lynn McIntyre.

Virginia enjoyed gardening and loved attending church and teaching Sunday School. She was a loving caregiver for her husband and daughter. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Sunday December 1, 2019 at the Charles W.
Smith and Sons Funeral Home McKinney, Texas. Burial will be Monday December 2, 2019 in Elmwood Cemetery, Bennet Edition in Wagoner, Oklahoma.
