Virginia Dunigan of Nevada, TX | 1950-2017 "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..." Virginia Louise Dunigan, age 67, of Nevada, TX, passed away on December 10th, 2017, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on January 8th, 1950, in Port Arthur, TX, to Horace Russell Robinson, and Della Beulah (Weeks) Robinson. Virginia was formerly of Nederland, TX, residing there from 1950 until 2002. She worked in medical administration for various Southeast Texas doctor's offices and for the SETMA group in Beaumont, TX. She is survived by her biological daughters Rebecca Eldred of Dallas, TX and Bethany Eldred of Nederland, TX; her brother-in-law, Richard Dunigan, of Neveda, TX; her sister-in-law, Ann Dunigan, of Nevada, TX; her "adopted" daughter, Angela Reeves, best friend to youngest daughter, Bethany, for 20 years, of Nederland, TX; and her life-long best friend, Kay Lathrop, of Plano, TX. She is preceded in death by her mother, Della Robinson; her father, H.R. Robinson; and her beloved husband, Jerry. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Nederland, TX. A small, family inurnment will be held at a later date at DFW National Cemetery in Arlington, TX. A memorial service for friends and family will be held in Virginia's hometown of Nederland, TX, also at a later date.
