Went home to be with his Lord at the age of 74. He passed away while doing what he loved best: serving others. He is survived by his wife Charlene Solomon Noe of Garland, TX, two sons, Richard I. Noe Sr. & wife Patricia of Weatherford, TX & Gregory Shon Webb & wife Rhonda of Kemp, TX, 16 grandchildren, Richard I Noe, Jr. & wife Wendi, Robert Glen Noe, Randall Noe, Russell Noe & wife Amanda, Paula Noe, Reylind Noe, Roland Noe, Pattie Sue Noe, Miranda Webb, Reudolph Noe, Rickert Noe, Marissa Webb, Pansi Noe & Penni Noe, brother George Robert Noe & wife Barbara of Bray, OK, sister Norma Noe Jenks & husband Frank of Colcord, OK, uncle & very special friends James Burwell & wife Bobbie of Owassa, OK & a whole host of nieces, nephews & extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents George & Lorraine Noe, his wife's parents Ed & Pansy Solomon & his sister-in-law Sandra Webb. He & his beloved bride Charlene celebrated 50 years of marriage on 6/16/2010. He was born in Tulsa, OK where he spent his formative years. After earning a Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern State University at Tahlequah,he had a 30 year career as a pharmaceutical district manager for Ciba-Geigy until his retirement in 1994. He was an active Deacon at South Garland Baptist Church where he served faithfully in many roles but most memorably the Youth Ministry. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 1994, & thus began a 16 year relationship with the Dallas Area Parkinsonism Society. He & his wife Charlene wer an inspiration & encouragement to so many in their family & thru their work with Buckner Children's Home, South Garland Baptist Church & the DAPS Parkinson's ministry they led at South Garland Baptist Church. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Eastgate Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at South Garland Baptist Church, 1330 E. Centerville Road, Garland, 75041. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Dallas Area Parkinsonism Society at 6370 LBJ Freeway, Suite 176, Dallas, TX 75240 or South Garland Baptist Church, 1330 E. Centerville Rd, Garland, TX 75041. For those of us who knew him well & loved him, we bid him farewell but not good-bye.
