75, of Sachse, Texas, passed away October 20, 2012 in Plano, Texas. He was born July 12, 1937 in Yonkers, New York to Pasquale and Rose Amato Montagno.
Vinnie served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Association of Racing Pigeons and Dallas Homing Pigeon Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Vinnie is survived by his wife, Patty Montagno; two daughters, Catherine Ludwick and Frances Hopkinson; three sons, Glen Montagno, Andrew Montagno and Scott Montagno; six grandchildren; and his sister, Lucille Biggica.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 2925 5th Street, Saches, Texas 75048. Reverend Hal Hinckley officiating.
