Life should not be
a methodical journey to the grave
with the goal being sure, safe arrival
in a well-preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways,
flute of champagne in hand,
screaming "What a Ride!"
Age 60, Viki passed from this life November 26, 2010 in Dallas, Texas. Viki was born August 31, 1950 in Dallas, Texas. Viki was an avid gambler and a free spirit, known for her kindness and helping others. Viki was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter & sister. She is survived by her husband, Big Ed, son, Danny Shelton, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, mother & step-father, June & Chick Willis, sister, Brandi Willis & brother-in-law, Larry Stroope, brother David Whittington, life long friend, Robbie Reeves and many, many other friends. Viki is preceded in death by her brothers, Bennie Mcghee and Bo Kovar.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions be made to Parkland Hospital of Dallas Oncology or The American Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be held Monday, November 29, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Eastgate Funeral Home, 1910 Eastgate Drive, Garland, Tx. 75041
