Vicky Beth McNeill

Vicky Beth (Burr) McNeill crawled into the arms of Jesus on Friday, August 18^th, 2023.  Vicky was born December 9th, 1942, in Dallas, Texas, to Alex and Annette Burr.  She was raised in Dallas where she graduated from Bryan Adams High School.  Vicky went on to attend and graduate from North Texas State University with a degree in Elementary Education.  While in college she met the love of her life, Elliott Lee McNeill.  After her graduation she and Elliott married August 15th, 1964. Through this union they had 2 sons, Chris McNeill (Michelle) and Scott (Lisa) McNeill.  They made their home in Garland, Texas, before moving to Richardson in 1997.  In 2020 Vicky and Elliott moved into The Auberge, a memory care facility where she remained until her death.

Vicky and Elliott were long standing members of First Baptist Church, Garland, Texas and were members of The Barnabas Class.  Vicky was involved in Bible Study Fellowship and Precept Bible Study. 

Vicky and Elliott enjoyed traveling to different parts of the world most of the time with their friends.

Vicky is survived by her husband Elliott of 59 years, sons Chris (Michelle) and Scott (Lisa), her brothers Bill (Karen), Jack (Yvonne) and Art Burr, sister-in-law Sharon (Steve) Shepard, 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandbaby.
