Vickie Lynn Nelson, 56, of Fate, TX. passed away at her residence on December 10, 2017. She was born on February 21, 1961 to Rudolph and Thelma Marlene (Lewis) Nelson in Dallas, TX. She worked for Acosta McCormick in Sales and Marketing. She is survived by her daughter; Lauren Befeld & husband Robert, Brother; Ricky Nelson, Mother; Marlene Nelson and 2 Grandchildren; Luke and Rachele Befeld. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lucas, TX.Visitation will be held on Thursday December 14, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons in Sachse. A Graveside Service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, TX. with Pastor Jim Everidge officiating. Services entrusted to Charles W. Smith & Sons of Sachse.
