Vera Alice Tavernier

Vera Tavernier, aged 103, went to be with her Lord on November 18, 2019. Vera was born December 29, 1915 in Elkhart, IN. She was the daughter of Edward Hackman and Maude Fetterly Hackman. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Tavernier, four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by Daughter, Jeanine Harvell of TX, Son, Thomas Tavernier of MO, Daughter Beverly Burritt of LA as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Fitzhugh Cemetery, 2540 Country Club Road, McKinney, Tx 75070. The funeral Home handling the arrangements is Charles W Smith & Sons at 601 S Tennessee Street, McKinney, Tx 75069. Special thanks to Victoria Gardens in Allen for taking excellent care of her for the last 8 years.
