Troy Jerry Hortman

Mr. Troy “Jerry” Hortman, 75, of Nevada, Texas (formerly of Griffin, Georgia), passed away peacefully on February 5th2018 in his home at 5:10 pm after his battle with cancer.He was surrounded by family and friends as he started his journey to be with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.Mr. Hortman was preceded in death by his father and mother, Troy and Flara Hortman; his brother, Charlie Hortman; and his loving wife, Johnnie Hortman.He is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughter-in-law’s: Mike and Carla Hortman, Chuck Hortman, and Scott and Cynthia Hortman.Mr. Hortman also had 9 Grandchildren that he loved dearly: Brandon and Kristi Hortman; Charles Jr., Josh, and Mardie Hortman; Chad and TJ Hortman; Brittney Hortma; and Cody Kunkel. Also extended family members, Rhonda Carter Hortman and Karen Cardwell.
