Travis Evan Eickman was born on August 5, 1985 in Dallas, Texas. He was the oldest of 3 children. Travis attended Garland High School and graduated in 2004.

He received a football scholarship to the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and played football while pursuing and earning a music composition degree. Trained as a classical pianist since the age of 8, Travis had a passion for music and love composing movie scores.

He enjoyed years of athlete development training in Houston, and later went on to teach and coach at Northeast Baptist School in West Monroe, Louisiana.

He moved home to Dallas and taught music at West Dallas Community School and was also a 2nd grade boys teacher at Watermark Community Church. This past year, Travis taught English at W.T. White High School and coached Varsity football and JV softball.

Travis was known for his impersonations and humor. He could impersonate many movie characters, public figures, and football coaches. He was a unique soul with an uncanny ability to lift the spirits of those around him. He was one who would draw others to conversations about the Lord, life, music, sports, and movies.

He engaged people of all ages, and motivated and inspired many in his coaching and teaching. He used his various talents to draw people to him and he shared the hope he had in Christ for Eternal Life.

Travis is survived by his parents Scott and Mary Eickman. His younger sister Lindsey Driscoll, and brother-in-law Steve Driscoll and younger brother Trevor Eickman. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins from both the Eickman and Stefanowicz familes.
