Tomijean Short Eldridge

Tomijean Short Eldridge of Wylie, TX went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2016. Tomi, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, was born on November 1, 1940 in Caruthersville, MO. At a young age, she moved to Texarkana, TX with her family. She graduated from Texas High School and married Joe Eldridge, her high school sweetheart, on February 26, 1958. Joe served in the Air Force, and for 25 years the family traveled and lived in Texas, Indiana, the Philippine Islands and Italy. Tomi was a wonderful homemaker, a devoted wife and mother and a loving grandmother. For over three decades she was a manager in retail sales for AAFES, Dillard’s and Hallmark.

Tomi survived by her husband, Joe; daughter, Tanya and husband, Chris Beaudoin; son, Jeffrey and wife, Tami Eldridge; daughter, Karen Eldridge; grandchildren, Cara and Chelsea Beaudoin, Joshua and Jacob Eldridge, Cheyenne, Sean and Rhianna Scott.

We love you with the breath, smiles and tears of all our lives and look to Heaven for our reunion with you in the future. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, January 18, 2016 at the Cross Bend Christian Church, 901 Cross Bend Rd., Plano, TX 75023
