Thomas Edward White

Thomas Edward White, 77, of Lavon, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Tom was born on March 4, 1937, in Stockton, CA. He retired from Dillard's department store as a maintenance engineer in 2000. He was also an avid hunter and lifetime member of the NRA. Tom is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Elaine White; daughter, Tammy Reeves and her husband, Buddy; daughter, Debbie Hogan and her husband Jerry; son, Billy White and his wife Dee Dee. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel, Heather and Matthew Reeves; Jarod and Jamie Hogan; Hailey and Lane White; and two great grandchildren, Blaine and Parker Reeves. The family will receive visitors Thursday evening, April 24, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 Fifth Street, Sachse, TX. A graveside service will take place Friday, April 25, at 2:00 p.m. at Lake View Cemetery, 2343 Lake Road, Lavon, TX, 75166.
