Tom is survived by his son, Mark Lair; sister, Pat Covington and her husband, Bobby; three nieces, Kay Burchett and her husband, Robert, Diana Campbell and her husband, Duncan, and Denette Loving and her husband, Tony; nephew, Dale Covington and his wife, Kim; seven great-nieces; two great-nephews; three great-great nieces; and five great-great nephews.
