Thomas Tait Kellam died unexpectedly on December 24, 2018 at the age of 47 in Richardson, Texas.
The funeral service will be held Friday 12:00 PM January 4th, 2019 at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home located at 2343 Lake Road, Lavon, Texas 75166. Reverend Mark Faust will be officiating.
Burial will follow the funeral at Lake View Cemetery.
Thomas was born on May 28, 1971 at St. Paul Hospital, Dallas Texas. He grew up in the Garland/Sachse area and attended North Garland High School. His career of choice was a mortgage loan officer. Thomas, as a mortgage loan officer at Supreme Lending, was devoted to helping folks buy their first home. Whether you were someone he knew personally or someone who met Thomas with a dream of owning a home, he would work tirelessly and relentlessly to ensure that you realized that American dream of owning your home.
As a father, he was blessed with a very talented and intelligent daughter. Her name is Elizabeth Juliette Kellam but most called her Lizzy. She was the light of his life and his everything. Thomas, aka Team Mom Tom or Mr. Tom, served as the 12U Team leader and directed his passion for helping others to helping Team TFS be the best they can be, whether it be organizing snacks & drinks, uniforms, tournaments… You name it Team Mom Tom did it!
Thomas is survived by his daughter: Elizabeth Juliette Kellam (12); his sisters: Mary Ann Villanueva and Julie Marie Cantrell; his twin brother: Charles (Charlie); and older brothers: William Kellam & Michael Kellam; his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.
Thomas is preceded by his father Billy Joe Kellam and mother Jo Ellen Bartlett.
