Thomas Frank Hrubesh was born in Bel Air, Maryland on April 26, 1944 to Charles and Ruth Caulder Hrubesh. He died in Richardson, Texas on February 16, 2011 at the age of 66.
Tom was an Eagle Scout. He served his country in the National Guard and the Air National Guard. He was an Electrical Engineer and worked for various companies including Westinghouse and BFI.
Tom is survived by his wife Theresa, his daughters Yvonne Conklin and husband Timothy and Christi Elizabeth McCord and husband Craig, his son Christopher Allen Hrubesh, six grandchildren Ashleigh Elizabeth McCord, Alexandra Elizabeth Conklin, Kyle Thomas McCord, Christopher Allen Hrubesh, Jr., Hannah Elizabeth McCord, Daniel Ellis Conklin, brothers David Hrubesh and wife Eleanor and Richard Hrubesh and wife Catherine, sister Sandra Murray and husband John. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Danny Hrubesh.
Friends may visit with the Hrubesh family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2011 at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Chapel, 2925 Fifth Street in Sachse, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held at Charles W. Smith on Saturday, February 19, at 1:00 p. m. with Father Timothy Gallop officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given in Tom’s honor to the Boy Scouts of America. Please make checks payable to: Baltimore Area Council - BSA (701 Wyman Park Drive, Baltimore, MD 21211) with the notation "To the Benefit of Broad Creek for Tom Hrubesh."
