Thomas Woods Hart

Thomas Woods Hart, 76, of Greenville, Texas passed away on April 16, 2014 in Greenville. Mr. Hart was born on August 5,1937 in Piqua, Ohio to parents Horace (Buck) and Miriam Hart. He served four years in the United States Navy as an instrument man 2nd class and received an honorable discharge.
He worked with many computer manufacturers, Digital Equipment, RCA Univac Div. of Sperry Rand, Comten both as a hardware and software analyst. He also owned a computer store in Plano for nine years called TH Micro Systems. Upon retirement he joined his wife selling real estate in the north Texas area.
He was a member of the Plano Amateur Radio Club and his call sign was WB50HM. He was also a member of the Mason Lodge of Princeton, Texas.
Mr. Hart is survived by his wife, Sharlene Roush Hart of Greenville, Texas; his son James Alan Hart (Susan) and three granddaughters Audra, Courtney, and Victoria Hart all of Allen, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jerry Hart.
A visitation for Mr. Hart will be held Wednesday April 23, 2014 at 11:00 am at Charles Smith & Sons Funeral Home in McKinney, Texas. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:30 with Pastor Keith Maloney officiating. Burial will take place at 2:15 pm at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
