Theresa Ann Bishop

Theresa Ann (Beckler) Bishop passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 3, 2014 after battling cancer. Terri was born October 17, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in Dallas, Texas and later made her home in Decatur, Texas with her late husband Joseph Bishop. Terri had a loving and Kind heart and was a friend to everyone. She was always willing to help out in any way possible. She graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1978 and attended Richland College. Terri worked at Braniff Airlines, Vice President of Support Systems. She married Joseph Bishop in September 30, 1989 and worked for him as an administrative assistant. Terri supported Joe's polo playing, raised and loved their many horses and cherished her 3 dogs, Angel, Ringo and Reggie at their ranch home in Decatur, Texas. Terri was also an Avon sales person in Decatur, receiving many awards. She was a talented artist, painted many beautiful paintings, made jewelry and stained glass pictures. She loved spending time with her family and friends, going on numerous trips. Terri always loved the Dallas Cowboys along with the Texas Rangers. Recently, she followed all football and baseball teams. Even in her final weeks, she reminded us how to live by example. She will be deeply missed by all of those who loved her and whose life she touched. Terri was preceded in death by her husband Joe Bishop, her father Nelson Beckler and sister Jonelle Ramsey. Terri was surrounded by her mother Joni Beckler, siblings David Beckler, Kelly & CE Crenshaw, Donna & Michael Decker, Brother-in-law David Ramsey; nieces & nephews; Josh & Lynette, Daniel & Amanda, Mathew & Tayler, Chelsea, Jake, Bridgette, Haley, Ava, Madison, Kendall, Step Children & Grandchildren from her deceased husband Joseph Bishop. A Celebration of her life will be held on January 18, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Cemetery 3900 Rowlett Rd. Rowlett, Texas 75088. Serviced entrusted to Charles W. Smith & Sons in Sachse, Texas.
