Tammy Alise Smith

Tammy Alise Smith, age 55 of Farmersville, TX, passed away on April 27, 2017 at her home. She was born on July 25, 1961 in Mesquite, TX to James Rollan and Edith Helois (Tillett) Smith. Tammy worked at Tiger Paw of Dallas for 10 years before purchasing the company and continued to operate the business for another 10 years. She was a member of Grace Community Church in Princeton for 7 years, and the members and pastoral staff were considered to be extended family in her eyes. Tammy enjoyed camping and any outdoor activity, especially close to a lake or beach. Social gatherings and grilling up some delicious food for her family and friends always made her happy. Spending time with her grandbabies was very special time for Tammy, too. Tammy never met a stranger, and she always made others feel loved, appreciated, and welcomed.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Edith; brother, James Edward Smith, and granddaughter, Emeline Hayes. She is survived by her siblings, Frank, Barbara, and Susie; her children, Brandi and husband, Martin, Traci, and Trent and wife, Stephanie; grandchildren, Miles, Lyric, Aiden, Toryn, Jaxon, Braedyn, Gessyka, Ethan, and Paityn; nephews and nieces, Ravonda and husband, Stan, Coral, Sherry and husband, David, Tommy and wife, Yvonne, Lisa and husband, Davide Jannise; great-nieces and great-nephews, Brittani, James and wife, Ashleigh, Shelby and husband, Tyler, Matt, Robert Paul, Taylor, Tanner, Megan, Sasha, and Cameron; and an abundance of extended children, grandchildren, great-great nieces and great-great nephews, Autumn, Holly, Justin, Bradlee, Ashlyne, Emylee, Carson, Cooper, Charlie, Michael, Brooklyn, Madison, Khloe, Haley, and Ashtyn.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Chapel, 660 E. Hwy 380, Princeton, TX 75407. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30 pm, Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Grace Community Church, 691 E. Princeton Dr., Princeton, TX 75407 with Pastor Rich Hooper officiating.

Service arrangements are under the care of Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Sachse, and any floral remembrances for the visitation should be sent to Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 5th St., Sachse, TX 75048. If they cannot be delivered for visitation, please deliver them on Wednesday to Grace Community Church, 691 E. Princeton Dr., Princeton, TX 75407.
