Sybil V. Singleton

Sybil V. Singleton passed away with her family by her side on March 3, 2015 after a brief illness with cancer at North Brook Place in McKinney, Texas. Sybil was born September 25, 1931 in Truscott, Texas to J.O. Mayberry and Myrtle Dodd Mayberry. She was a beautiful , intelligent, fun and caring woman, and has now left this world to join her Lord and Savior. She lived in Zapata, Texas with her mother for the past 35 years and worked at the Zapata Library for 21 years, retiring in 2012. She was preceded in death by her father J.O. Mayberry, mother Myrtle Mayberry, brother Vandal Mayberry of Marshall, Texas, brother Jack Mayberry of Lubbock, Texas. Sybil is survived by her brothers Fred Mayberry of Frisco, Texas, brother Phil Mayberry of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and brother Ron Mayberry of Colorado City, Texas.
A Memorial Service will be at Colonial Gardens Cemetery in Marshall, Texas at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 8th, 2015.
