Susie Enriqueta Schutt

Susie Enriqueta Garcia Schutt, 84, passed from this life Feb 24, 2016. Born in San Antonio, TX July 15, 1931 to Bartolo and Maria Garcia the second of nine children she met Air Force Airman Walter W. Schutt and was married June 5, 1953. The newlyweds moved to his home in Detroit, Michigan where Susie raised their four children while learning cosmetology. Upon moving to Allen, Texas in 1978 she laid the groundwork for building up a successful business as owner and operator of Susie’s Total Images. Susie was a firm believer in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and attended Our Savior Lutheran Church for several years.

In addition to loving her work and clientele she was partial to Cadillac’s, high heels and margaritas, Texas cuisine and lively music. She enjoyed country living with her pet dogs and horses but her greatest delight was spending time with her family; son, Bob Schutt of Plano, TX, daughters, Susan (Mike) Stanisci, Annette (Monty) Head, and Andrea (Jessie) Jones all of Allen, TX and her eight grandchildren (Andrew, Rachel, Daniel, Marcus, Seth, Renee, Emilie and Martin) whom she adored and cherished. Her husband Walter passed away in 2004.

Susie was vibrant, hospitable, generous and kind hearted exuding a ladylike style and fiery elegance which made everyone around her feel important and welcomed. She will be greatly missed.
