Susan "Sue" Lynn McDonald, age 59, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in Garland, Texas. She was born November 4, 1953 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Louis Carl Fischer and Gloria Jean Swingle Fischer.
Sue was a resident of Garland, Texas for 28 years. She was an Educator/Librarian and teacher for over 25 years. Sue was married to Bobby "Bob" Gene McDonald on November 20, 1976 in Austin, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Carl Fischer.
Sue is survived by her husband, Bobby "Bob" Gene McDonald of Garland, Texas; three sons, Joshua Ryan McDonald of Fort Worth, Texas, Ian Patrick McDonald of Garland, Texas and Christopher Keith McDonald and his wife, Natasha of Wylie, Texas; daughter, Kendall Rose Fagan and her husband, Chris of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Sean and Evelyn McDonald, Skylar and Kalli Fagan, and Mason Simmons; mother, Gloria Jean Fischer of Garland, Texas; brother, Robert "Bob" David Fischer and his wife, Kathy of Camarillo, California; and numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sue McDonald Children's Ministry Scholarship Fund at North Pointe Church of Christ in Sachse, Texas.
