Susan Honda Hogeboom

Susan H. Hogeboom, passed away in Murphy, Texas on 23 of November 2017. Susan was born Shizue Honda on 8th of May, 1931 to Taji and Tatsu Honda in Itabashi-ku - Tokyo Japan. She was married to CSG Major Lawrence C. Hogeboom on March 13, 1952 in Tokyo Japan and came to US in June 1952. She received her US citizenship in 1955, in New Orleans, La. She followed her husband on various assignments throughout his military career. She resided in Murphy, Texas since 2009, previously residing in McAlester OK for 37 years. She is survived by her husband Lawrence, her three daughters; Ruby Merchant, Okeechobee, FL, Barbara McCart (Wayne), Belton, TX and Becky Casey, Murphy, TX, her grandchildren; TJ McCart (Gabby), Gainesville, FL, Jessica McCart, Round Rock Texas, Mallory (Dave) Gregorio, San Antonio, TX and Connor McCart, Belton Texas.

Memorial Service to be held at the Dallas- Ft Worth National Cemetery on December 11, 2017 @ 11:30 A.M
