Susan Martha Dalager

Susan Martha Dalager, 63, of Parker, Texas passed away quietly, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 31, 2013. Susan was born to her parents, Hubert and Florence Rachuig on February 25, 1950 in Weslaco, Texas. She is survived by her husband Duane; sons Brent Dalager, Kirk (Laura) Dalager and Erik Dalager; siblings John (Karen) Oxner, Pam (Bob) Hobkirk and Shelly (Dennis) Combs; nieces Amy Combs, Bailey Combs and Christina Kunde; nephews Carl Morse, Scott Morse, Greg Morse and Brad Morse and a great nephew Brayden Crane. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Florence Rachuig and a brother Rick Rachuig. Susan was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family.
The family will receive friends at a visitation to be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee Street McKinney, Texas 75069. You may also pay your respects to the family at the church, Atonement Lutheran Church, 4412 Legacy Drive Plano, Texas 75024, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2014. A funeral service to celebrate Susan's life will take place on Friday, immediately following, at Atonement Lutheran Church.
