Stuart Stanley Wells

December 20, 1924 — January 31, 2019

Stuart S Wells was born on December 20, 1924 in Roseburg, Oregon, to Lyle and Ruby Wells. He had two sisters Noel and Neta. The family relocated to Dallas, Texas when he was an infant and this is where he attended school. In May 1943 he joined the United States Army, and served in the Company A 98th Signal Battalion. In March 1946 he was honorably discharged. On February 12, 1949, Stuart married his love, Francis L Barker in Rockwall, Texas. They had 3 children. He made a career as being an electrician, and retired in 1986. Wood work was one of Stuarts passions and he was extremely gifted at it.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Ruby Wells, sisters, Noel Boyd and Neta Clark, spouse Francis Wells and their eldest son, Keith Wells. Survived by daughter, Karen and husband James Elliott, son, Dale Wells. Grandchildren – Angela, Vanessa, Andrea, Cyrena, Shana and Mike, along with 9 great-grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday February 9, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Eastgate Funeral Home Chapel 1910 Eastgate Drive Garland, Texas 75041. Mr. Wells will be buried at the DFW National Cemetery on February 11, 2019 at 10:15 am. For those attending please be in line #2 by 10:00 am
