Steven Lynn Jones, 61, of Allen, Texas went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 11, 2013. He was born to Lonnie Barton Jones and Wyvonna Billington Jones on February 14, 1951. He was a loving husband to Evelyn Dian Howard Jones and devoted father to Stefanie Joanidis, Shannon Quinn and Andrew Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Dian, mother, Wyvonna, brother, Mark Allen Jones, daughters: Stefanie Joanidis, Shannon Quinn, son: Andrew Jones, grandchildren, Haley Ann Terry, Ashley Nicole Joanidis, Lacey Paige Joanidis, Kenzie McKenna Quinn, daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Alice Beardshaw Jones and son-in-law Jason Richard Joanidis and Robert James Quinn IV.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee Street, McKinney, Texas 75069.
The family has asked that donations be made to Visiting Nurses Association of McKinney, at 2414 West University, Suite 200, McKinney, Texas 75071 in lieu of flowers.
