Stephen Wyrick

August 30, 1960 — January 14, 2025

Kemp

Stephen Ray Wyrick was born August 30, 1960 and went to be with our Lord  on January 14, 2025.  "Steve" or "Biggen" was born and raised in the Garland area, but lived in Kemp, TX for several years.  He loved and was loved dearly by our family.

His love of motorcycles led him to be a mechanic, working at L&L Cycle Shop in Dallas, but had been unable to actually work there for some time.  Before becoming disabled, he rode motorcycles with his friends delivering "Toys for Tots" at Christmas time to the children.  He so enjoyed riding for pleasure to Galveston, Big Bend and Sturgis, South Dakota.  He had been working on a cycle for himself (just in case) he was ever able to ride again.

Steve is survived by daughter Lou "Buddha" Wyrick, grandchildren Stevie and Daisie, parents Warren and Betty Wyrick, sister Sherry Sanford, brothers Keith Wyrick and wife Katie, Steve Claustre, Larry Claustre, Frankie Spencer and many nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his sister Vicki Knowles, brother Ken Claustre, biological mother Athie Denny.

Stephen Ray was treated for many years at Hope Cancer Center in Athens, TX.  It would mean a lot to our family if in lieu of flowers, you would donate in his memory to that establishment:  115 Medical Circle Suite 106, Athens, TX  75751  (903-677-1545)
