Age 97, was born April 19, 1914 in Plains, Pennsylvania and passed away January 12, 2012 in Rowlett, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Simalunis; her daughter, Jo-Ann Dobek; great-granddaughter, Katrina Polanco; parents, Stanislav and Theodora Montville; two brothers, Joseph Montville and Peter Montville; and two sisters, Theodora Montville and Evelyn Chappell.
Stella is survived by three granddaughters, Cheryl Still and her husband, John, Rhonda Polanco and her husband, Robert, and Jessica Rorke; six great-grandchildren, Matthew Still, Ryan Still, Michael Still, Allyson Polanco, Samantha Rorke, and Madeline Rorke; her son in-law, John Dobek; two brothers, Adam Montville and Frank Montville; sister, Helen Verbyla; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., with the Rosary starting at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas 75048. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, Janaury 18, 2012 at All Saints Catholic Church, 5231 Meadowcreek Lane, Dallas, Texas 75248. Interment will follow in Sachse Cemetery, Sachse, Texas.
