Shirley Deane Ellett Cobb

Shirley Deane Ellett Cobb, 83, of Wylie,Texas and long-time resident of Iowa Park, Texas, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 after a full life filled with friends and family. Shirley was born September 18, 1935 in Brownwood, Texas to Horace and Leona Harrington Ellett. She was married to Billy Jack Cobb for 65 years before his death earlier this year. She is survived by a son, David and wife Terri of Childress, Texas; a daughter, Beth Ellis and husband Clayton of Montgomery, Texas; a granddaughter, Michelle Horak and husband Brent of Wylie, Texas; and great grandsons Carson Horak and Austin Horak of Wylie, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Rainey Ellett, Lester Ellett, and Zane Ellett, and her husband, Bill. Shirley graduated from Early High School in Early, Texas. She worked as an office assistant for Camp Fire USA for many years before retiring. She spent her retirement years enjoying time with her family, especially her great grandsons. Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Wylie, Texas on Saturday, December 1, 2018.
