Shawn Howell Dunnahoe

March 28, 1962 — July 3, 2015

"A Celebration of the life of Shawn Howell Dunnahoe will be held on July 11, 2015 @ 11 a.m. at Ridgeview Church 1362 East FM 552 Rockwall, Texas 75087. Weary of reading generic obituaries noting someone's courageous battle with death, Shawn's family would want everyone to know he died as a result of forcing 75 years of life into a 53 year old body. He lived his life to the fullest and had no regrets. He loved his family, he loved his friends and he loved having fun. "Shawn was born March 28, 1962 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Richard and Joyce Dunnahoe. A self-taught omnioligist, he is noted for his early football accomplishments at Rockwall High School, his talent for writing, especially his poetry, and gift of the gab. He was a friend to the friendless, a defender of the defenseless, extensive traveler and "just a nice dude". He knew every conspiracy theory, hated materialism and felt uncomfortable around fake people. He loved to read. "Shawn was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Joyce, survived by his beloved daughter Danielle Smith, husband Marc, their precious children Faith Marie and Zachary Smith, Danielle's mother Deborah Parks, Partner Patsy Caldwell, Brothers Richard II, Stephen (wife Susan), Travis (wife Toni), Uncle Leonard and Aunt Norma Dunnahoe (his favorites); Nephews (Roby and Chase Dunnahoe) Nieces (Rachel, Caitlyn, Whitney and Rory Dunnahoe) multiple other Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and a multitude of FRIENDS. He would want you stop by and re-tell the stories he can no longer tell (discretion advised).
