Sharlene enjoyed the fellowship and ministry of her spiritual family at First Baptist Church of Plano, in which she was a member for nearly 52 years. Sharlene, being an avid sports fan, loved baseball, basketball and especially college football-GoSooners! She, herself, was an excellent basketball player in her high school days at Altus High! She became a"first-time snow skier" at the age of 45 when the "singles" group from First Baptist Church of Plano went to Winter Park, Colorado for a ski weekend and she was "hooked"! For a number of years to follow, one would find her looking for the best ski package deals and Baniff,Canada became a favorite! She always said if you needed to find her, she would be there, enjoying the beauty of the majestic mountains! Spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite activity of all, which they name "Camp Grammy."
