Shannon Lee Settle, 40, of Dallas, Texas, died on July 17, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on February 29, 1972 in Dallas, Texas.
Shannon attended Prosper High School and received his diploma in 1990 from Hillcrest H.S.. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Freidburg, Germany. Since leaving the Army he worked in the I.T. field as computers and programming were his passions in life.
As a final gift to this world, his organs were donated and will help numerous people.
He is survived by his parents, James R. and Patricia Settle of McKinney. His great Aunt, Jeanette Jernigan of Pace, FL. His brothers, Joel Settle of Austin, Texas, Toby Settle and his wife Meredith Settle, their three children Lillian, Bennett, and Ettalyn of Celina, Texas, Neal Settle and his children, Kathryn and Jacob of McKinney Texas, and his sister, Laci Landrith and her husband Justin of Little Elm, Texas.
A memorial service will take place at FUMC McKinney at 2:00 PM on Tuesday July 24, 2012. Visitation will take place at 1:00 PM preceeding the Memorial.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the FUMC McKinney Pastoral Assistance Fund which helps those in financial need.
