Shahbaz Paul Fazal Din

Dr. Shahbaz Paul Fazal Din was born August 10th, 1953 in Quetta, Pakistan to Mr. Belteshazzar Fazal Din and Mrs. Hashmat Fazal Din. He was a Christian man who was also very studious; he loved to study medicine. He graduated from Bolan Medical College in Quetta, Pakistan in 1981. Shortly thereafter, he started serving as a Medical Doctor at the Christian Hospital in Taxila, Pakistan. In 1986, he traveled to Vienna, Austria to earn his specialty credentials in Ophthalmology. Dr. Fazal Din was an Ophthalmologist for 36 years. After returning from Vienna, he served in various Christian Hospitals across the country. He also worked with missionaries throughout his tenure traveling to rural parts of the country to help the underserved and underprivileged people with pro bono work. Nearly 29,000 surgeries, he gave people the ability to see God's beautiful creation. Being sponsored by UT Southwestern, he packed up his family of seven, wife and five children, and immigrated to the United States in 1997 as he dreamed of providing a greater future for his children. He became a professor and taught aspiring students in the field of medicine. He earned the position of Dean at Anthem College. He also did missionary work in Nepal. He married Aster Maria Fazal Din in 2013 and enjoyed time with his wife singing and leading worship in church services. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

Dr. Shahbaz was preceded in death by his parents, Belteshazzar Fazal Din (father), Hashmat Fazal Din (mother); and his sisters, Afzi Laal Din and Gloria Fazal Din.

Dr. Shahbaz is survived by his wife Aster Maria Fazal Din, his daughter Raima Fazal Din, and his four sons Anique Fazal Din, Laique Fazal Din, Raique Fazal Din, and Labique Fazal Din. Grandchildren Esmund Fazal Din, Evelyn Fazal Din, Glory Fazal Din, Christian Fazal Din, Amelia Fazal Din, Liam Fazal Din, and Judah Fazal Din.

Palbearers will be Anique Fazal Din, Laique Fazal Din, Raique Fazal Din, Labique Fazal Din, Sarfaraz Fazal Din and Esmund Fazal Din

Pastor Sardar will officiate at the services.
