Shadreck Chitanda

Shadreck Chitanda was born on April 11, 1958, in Seke, Zimbabwe to the late Phibion and the late Constance Chitanda. He departed this life on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in McKinney.



On December 25, 1982, he was joined in Holy Matrimony to Blessmore Chitanda in Harare, Zimbabwe.



Shadreck enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a man of action, involvement and was heavily committed to numerous community events and organizations including Pachedu, which he was one of the original co-founding members. He was also a member of the Six Star Group of Friends in Zimbabwe. Shadreck was a long-time parishioner at Zimbabwe Wesleyan Church of Plano in Texas.



He leaves to cherish his sweet memories, his wife Blessmore: his children Constance, Coleen and Donald; grandchildren Jayden, Seth, Kaela, Ethan, Madison, Jannel, Carter, Shane and Shawn; 3 brothers Jeremiah, Moses, and Albert; his sister Emilia; immediate relatives in the USA: cousin (Barbara, Pastor Masuka, and Chitukutuku), sisters-in-law (Linda and Jackie), brothers-in-law (Lloyd and Maxwell), nieces (Jean and Rudo), daughters-in-law (Melissa and Tsitsi), sons-in-law (Dumisani, Fungayi, and Anesu); and representing a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and relatives not mentioned in name but very dear to his heart, his nephew Obio Chinyere.
