Age 98, of Garland, Texas, passed from this life on January 8, 2013 in Princeton, Texas. She was born December 16, 1914 to David and Sara Ballard.
Selma is survived by her three daughters, Derene Watkins and her husband, Coy of Wylie, Texas, Glenna Ijames of Wylie, Texas and Rene'e Stewart and her husband, Jack of Sachse, Texas; six grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas 75048.
Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 11, 2013 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas 75048. Reverend David Spiegel officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 P.M., in Harmony Cemetery, Winnsboro, Texas.
