Sean Patrick Fleming

Sean Patrick Fleming was born on January 27, 1966 in Passaic NJ to Thomas William Fleming and Carole Ann (Girard) Fleming.  Sean passed from this life and became a lector for God in the next life on January 3,2024 at the age of 57. 

Sean grew up in Naperville IL and graduated from Naperville Central in 1984.   After some time in the auto parts business, he decided to move to Texas where he graduated with an associates degree from Collin County Community College, and then went on to graduate with a degree in economics from the University of Texas at Dallas.  He was able to work for the US government as a number cruncher for some time at the Bureau of Labor Standards.

Once he moved to Wylie more than 25 years ago he became an integral part of the St Anthony Catholic church congregation.  He attended daily Mass and could be seen riding his bike or walking to church for the exercise.   He could be counted on to be there for many facets of the church community, from making coffee for the “Liars” Club to taking his turn at the podium for Lector duties, to ushering at Saturday Mass and keeping the books For the SASSY group.  He will be sorely missed as a part of the St Anthony community.

Sean was preceded in death by his father Thomas.

For the past several years Sean was a primary caretaker for Dad and companion for Mom.  He was always available to run over from his home to help to drive to Mass, to run errands and to be there when needed.  During the last ten years we gave his time and effort to assisting his sister and brother-in-law with number crunching in their businesses as well.

Sean was always a worker that could be counted on to do work over and above what was requested.

He is a lifelong Chicago Bears and Chicago Blackhawks fan. 

He is survived by his loving mother Carole his sister and brother-in-law Carole and Dr Paul Kempf Jr of Willowbrook IL, his brother and sister-in-law Tom and Lynda (Perry) Fleming, his two nephews TC and wife Megan (Cortinas) Fleming and daughter Isaura, Daniel Fleming and his son Peighton and daughter Emma as well as many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
