Santa Anita Neubert

Santa Anita Neubert, 77, of Garland, TX passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024. 

Santa Anita “Anna” was born on September 21, 1947, in San Antonio, TX to Lorenzo and Louisa (De La Fuente) Lazarin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Lawrence Lazarin and Rogerio “Roy” Lazarin.

She is survived by her husband Rodney Neubert of 54 years, daughters Laura Neubert and Cynthia Stultz, grandchildren Justin Neubert, Hailey Stultz and Gavin Neubert, brothers Arthur Lazarin and Reynaldo “Rey” Lazarin and best friend Sandy Ross. Along with numerous family members and friends who will cherish her memory always.

She held many different types of jobs, but her career was caring for her children and family. She loved to watch her BBC Murder Mysteries and The Incredible Dr. Pol. The best things about her was not only her beauty but her contagious laugh, you could hear it miles away and knew exactly who it was.

The memorial service for Santa Anita will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 2:00pm at Divine Peace Church, 1346 Pleasant Valley Rd, Garland, TX 75040. Anyone who wishes to join is welcome to attend. Flowers may be sent to the church, or in place of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Santa Anita’s name to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, World Diabetes Foundation, or Breast Cancer Foundation-Susan G. Komen to allow her memory to continue to live on by inspiring strength, resilience, and generosity for those suffering the same conditions that affected her life.
