Sandra Leathers

In loving memory of our sweet Sandra Dawn Leathers. Sandra was born on March 22, 1965 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Tim and Fran Leathers and was a Christian who accepted Jesus Christ as her savior. She was laid to rest on October 26, 2018. Sandra was known as a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was very close to her mother Fran and valued family more than anything. She had such an impact on people, even outside of the family, that she was known as Aunt Sandy.

Loved ones and friends close to Sandra would describe her as selfless, loving, thoughtful, protective, and caring. She would not think twice about giving her last to make her kids happy. She was very protective of her kids and anyone close to her and she would have your back no matter what. She was very outgoing, loved the lake, and was an active member of the Stingerettes in High School. Her favorite color was purple and she loved soft, fuzzy blankets and a good robe.

Sandra was preceded in death by her ex-husband Chris Kyler and overcame the struggle of being a single mother and raising the two boys he left behind. All of her children describe her love as unconditional. Sandra recently became a proud grandmother to Jordy Pettis. She is survived by her children Chris Kyler Jr., Steven Kyler, Allie Garrett, and Blake Garrett. Sandra Dawn Leathers will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
