Samantha Sue Kelley, age 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Sachse, Texas on December 26, 2014. She was born September 7, 1945 in Concho, Oklahoma to Albert and Bernice Barebow Vela.
Samantha was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tiffany Schwartz; and son in-law, Wade Hammonds.
She is survived by her husband, David Kelley; four sons, Merle Wayne Williams, III, Blair Williams and his wife, Nancy; Wes Williams and his wife, Christel; and Marc Williams; daughter, Tabbie Hammonds; thirteen grandchildren, Jessica Yosten and her husband, Brad, Jodi Curry and her husband, Aaron Yosten, Britney Ellis and her husband, Jarrod, Chase Mason, Chelbie Williams, Wesley Williams, Merle Scherb, Corby Scherb, Lucas Scherb and his wife, Heather, Logan Scherb and his wife, Ashley, Jett Williams, Piper Williams, and Bailey Williams; seven great-grandchildren, Zoey Curry, Ryland Nichols, Zander Nichols, Dresden Ellis, Brooklyn Scherb, and Clayton Yosten; sister, Leslie Albert and her husband, Jackie; brother, Dino Vela; sister in-law, Candice Purvis; and other family members.
