Sally Dell Jordan, age 72, of Wylie, Texas, passed away in Richardson, Texas on May 14, 2015 after battling complications resulting from scoliosis.
Sally was born on January 28, 1943 in Odessa, Texas to Alvis and Odell Tolar. She was proud to be in the 2nd graduating class of Odessa Permian High School. She lived much of her life in Duncanville, Texas and later moved to Wylie, Texas.
Known as "Ms. Sally" to so many in Wylie, she enjoyed working the lunch shift at Chick-Fil-A, volunteering at Akin Elementary, helping with children's ministry at First Baptist Church of Wylie, and being a fan of dancers at Dance Company of Wylie.
Sally is survived by her son, James Jordan; daughter, Amanda Norris and her husband, Dan Norris; and grandchildren, Landry and Macey Norris.
Visitation will be held at the Chapel at First Baptist Church of Wylie on Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.
Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Monday, May 18, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Wylie, 100 N. First Street, Wylie, Texas 75098, with Dr. Kris Segrest officiating. Interment will follow at Sachse Cemetery, Sachse, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Scoliosis Foundation www.scoliosis.org/donations.
