Sadiq Masih Mathews, age 70, of Garland, Texas, passed away September 9, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. He was born January 15, 1945 in India.
His life was a reflection of his love for Jesus and his heart was made of gold.
His wife was his best friend. Sadiq was proud of all his children and told them this often. He loved his family, his friends and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a joy to be around. He was patient, kind, selfless, generous and never held a grudge. Even if he didn't agree with you, he still supported you. He was full of wisdom and had a great sense of humor. He was always available to listen and offer counsel and a warm hug.
In a house with five females, he was the voice of reason. If you didn't believe in yourself, he was quick to tell you how much he believed in you. Every life he touched couldn't help but notice his genuine kindness because he enjoyed helping others and he always saw the best in people. He leaves a big hole in our hearts and will be missed tremendously.
Sadiq is survived by his wife, Salomi Mathews; daughters, Sabina Mathews, Sehnaz Mistry, Shashi Abraham, and Stephanie David; sons-in law, Saleem Mistry, Samuel Abraham and Sumit David; grandchildren, Zarina Mistry and Ariella Abraham; brothers, Rafiq Mathews and Farzand Mathews; and numerous other family members and friends.
