On January 25, 2022, Ruth Genuske of Richardson, Texas passed away at the age of 89.
Ruth was born to Melvene and Ed Wolz on September 25, 1932 in Downers Grove, IL. She received her bachelors of education in 1954 from Elmhurst University. She and Ray Genuske married shortly thereafter and moved to El Paso, Texas. Together they raised 4 children; Karen, Ken, Kevin and Kathy. She had a very successful career as an elementary school teacher for 35 years.
She and Ray were very active in the Western Hills Methodist Church in El Paso, Texas.
She loved to cook and was an avid seamstress.
Upon retirement, she and Ray moved to Cloudcroft, New Mexico and enjoyed many travel adventures in their motor home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvene and Edwin; Brothers, Eddie and Roger.
She is survived by her husband Ray, their 4 children Karen and husband Craig, Ken and wife Brenda, Kevin and wife Terri, Kathy and husband Raymond; 5 grandchildren Ashley, Amber, Lyndi, Sean and Kayla and 6 great grandchildren Emmi, Clarke, Andrew, TJ Jr., Rhett and Harley.
She was also blessed with 3 step-grandchildren Chris, Katie, Zach and 4 step great grandchildren Hunter, Hayden, Olivia and Ava.
