Roy Loren Cross, age 97, of Plano, Texas, passed away March 7, 2015 in Plano, Texas. He was born January 10, 1918 in Pinkneyville, Illinois to Alvin and Louise Springer Cross.
Roy served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army in World War II in Europe. He was a member of General Patton's Army Unit.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gerri Cross; six brothers and sisters.
Roy is survived by his daughter, Deborah Keffer and her husband, Karl; grandson, Kristopher Keffer and his wife, Kay; three great-grandchildren, Laura Keffer, Kristina Keffer and Matthew Keffer; sister in-law, Lois Riggin; and his loving canine companion, Odie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 3601 W. 15th Street, Plano, Texas 75075.
